How'd I get here?
I studied Computer Science at GWU, but I was always drawn to the creative side. I snuck animation and fine arts into my curriculum wherever I could.
After graduation I spent time in video production, then moved back into web development for 5 years. I wanted creativity in the work badly enough that I started hardcoding wireframes in HTML, CSS, and JS just so I could talk about the user with stakeholders.
Now I'm in Arlington, VA, pursuing my Master's in UX Design at MICA.
I'm on the lookout for roles where I can bring both the design and technical side to the table.
